At the Blue Restaurant & Bistro we offer delectable modern British cuisine, with a Mediterranean twist. The restaurant is situated on the historic Spon Street, in Coventry City Centre, an easy walking distance from the Belgrade Theatre, the Skydome and its Odeon cinema, Ikea and, of course, Coventry Cathedral.

The dining area at Blue covers two floors of a beautiful medieval building dating back to 1450, the exposed beams of which are complemented by striking wooden furniture to create an elegant ambiance and a unique dining experience.

Our ethos is simple: a creative menu based upon great, preferably local, seasonal ingredients, ethically sourced and cooked with passion. This passion extends to our wines, our extensive list of national and international beers - and even to our soft drinks, teas and coffees.

Local is important to us. Our name and logo reflect our pride as a restaurant in Coventry. We buy our meat from Earlsdon Butchers, for example, because they meet our high standards for animal welfare and traceability - as well as being great butchers. Their venison comes from Charlecote Park, from a herd that dates back to Tudor times. This desire to serve local produce extends to our wines - we have some great wine from two Warwickshire vineyards.

Upstairs at Blue provides a fabulous setting for functions, from weddings to business meetings and seminars. It also offers two of the most perfect tables in what we believe must be the most perfect romantic restaurant in Coventry.
